Struggle less, accomplish more
We give your brain the nutrients it needs to be at its creative peak
We started truBrain in 2013 with a simple belief - reading the data inside our brains could improve how we live.
We measured the brainwaves of CEOs, Artists, and Lawyers under high-pressure conditions to understand the brainwave patterns behind their best days and also their worst days.
We discovered that this data could have massive implications for people’s quality of life. From this, our food and beverage products were born.
OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Chris founded truBrain to help people "get out of the office" by being more productive and efficient. He is passionate about quantified-self and collaborates with a great team of Neuroscientists to measure and optimize productivity. Prior to truBrain, Chris set up a social commerce platform as the Entrepreneur in Residence for Centoria, after a brand management role at Unilever for Hellmann's/BestFoods and Suave. Before Unilever, Chris managed consulting engagements for F500 consumer products clients including Wrigley’s, Nokia, and Pfizer. Chris has an MBA from Duke and a BA in Economics from Georgetown, where he played tennis in the Big East Conference.
Dr. Hill received his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from UCLA in 2012, studying how attention operates in the brain. He is currently lecturing for the Undergraduate Education Initiatives program at UCLA, teaching a course sequence gerontology, and the neuroscience of healthy brain aging. Dr. Hill has published chapters on measuring and modulating human attention, and continues to research self regulation. Prior to UCLA, Dr. Hill obtained extensive experience working with both psychiatric and developmental populations as well as gaining experience in high technology areas. He received his B.S. in Psychology/Neuroscience from UMass Amherst. See Andrew’s book chapters Measuring & Modulating Hemispheric Attention and EEG Correlates of Hemispheric Word Recognition.
OUR NEUROSCIENCE TEAM
Our science team has training in neurobiology, neurochemistry and neuroscience - folks that came together with the shared mission that neurotechnology and neuroscience can make a big improvement in our lives. Not nearly enough is known about the human brain, which makes for a very exciting time to be collaborating with neuroscientists looking to bring solutions backed by neurotech.
Bill runs marketing and demand generation for truBrain. He began his career working for several start-ups in the Boston area before moving to Silicon Valley to work with early stage B2B companies.
